5 common questions answered
NHTSA recall information identifies three safety concerns for the 2020 Ford Edge. Loose or missing transmission accumulator endcap bolts may cause a fluid leak, loss of transmission function, or an increased fire risk if fluid reaches an ignition source. A poor rearview camera connection may produce a blank or distorted image, reducing rearward visibility and increasing crash risk. Inadequate rear drive unit lubricant may cause axle seizure, potentially resulting in loss of drive or vehicle control. Waiting can allow a developing condition to become more serious. A prompt VIN check helps determine whether your Edge needs a no-charge manufacturer remedy.
