5 common questions answered
NHTSA identifies three recall concerns for the 2017 Ford Mustang. A passenger air bag inflator may rupture and send metal fragments toward occupants, creating a risk of serious injury or death. A loose driver-side door-handle return spring may allow the door to unlatch during a side-impact crash, increasing injury risk. An engine oil cooler tube hose may separate, causing oil loss, possible engine failure and a crash risk; oil near an ignition source may also create a fire risk. Waiting can leave a known safety concern unresolved, so confirm your VIN and arrange the applicable remedy as soon as possible.
