5 common questions answered
NHTSA identifies two recall concerns for certain 2017 Ford Flex vehicles. A rear suspension toe link may fracture from stress, causing a sudden change in handling and raising crash risk. On vehicles with a 3.5L GTDI engine, an improperly brazed turbocharger oil supply tube may leak oil onto engine components; an ignition source could then increase fire risk. Waiting can leave a safety-related condition unresolved. If you received a notice, observe a concern, or cannot confirm prior recall work, arrange a VIN check promptly. Ford’s specified remedies are performed at no charge for eligible vehicles by an authorized dealer.
