5 common questions answered
NHTSA reports two recalls affecting the 2016 Ford Mustang. An engine oil cooler tube assembly hose may separate, causing an oil leak that can lead to sudden oil loss, engine failure, a crash risk, or fire if oil reaches an ignition source. A separate seat belt recall involves front and rear seat belts and child seat tether anchors that may have been damaged before assembly and may not restrain occupants properly in a crash. Waiting can leave a safety concern unresolved. Check your VIN promptly and contact Coggin Ford Jacksonville if you receive a notice, see an oil leak, or are uncertain whether prior recall work was completed.
