5 common questions answered
NHTSA recall information identifies two potential safety concerns for certain 2016 Ford Flex vehicles. A rear suspension toe link may fracture from stress, causing a sudden change in handling and increasing crash risk. On vehicles equipped with the 3.5L GTDI engine, an improperly brazed turbocharger oil supply tube may leak oil onto engine components, where an ignition source could increase fire risk. Waiting can leave a known safety concern unresolved. If you received a notice, have a handling concern, or are unsure whether a prior repair was completed, schedule service promptly so the VIN and recall status can be reviewed.
