As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, Seating Systems

Corrective Action

Ford has notified owners, and dealers will replace the front seat assemblies, free of charge. Parts are currently not available. An interim owner notification was mailed on February 15, 2019 to inform owners of the issue. A second notice will be sent when parts are available.
